Year 5 - 'Law and Disorder'

Tuesday 5th November 2024

Our new topic is Law and Disorder and we will be finding out about crime and punishment in Britain from Roman times up until the present day.

Year 5 have been busy solving clues and mysteries during our Immersion Day. We solved the mystery of the 'Straw Thief' by solving mathematical clues, worked out who was the murderer in Cluedo and even had our fingerprints taken!

Some rather suspicious characters were seen outside Owls classroom, luckily the Police were on hand to stop and crimes being committed!

Year 4 - 'Veni, Vidi, Vici'

Wednesday 6th November 2024

Our Immersion Day for our new topic ‘Veni, Vidi, Veci’ was a huge success in Year 4!
We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Romans, including sanitation and how water was transported during the Roman 
times by constructing aqueducts. We also immersed ourselves into role play and acted out scenes from battles to understand 
how the Roman empire spread. Lots of fun!

Year 3 - 'What a Saga'

Wednesday 6th November 2024

For our Immersion Day, we dressed up as Vikings and learnt about Viking history. We also read some interesting Viking sagas 
which we will use later to write up our own saga. All of us were given a Viking name that we used with pride throughout 
the day. We ended the day with a quiz, which tested our knowledge of Vikings.
